Passport Requirements
1.New Passport
All applicants must fill the application Form PP1
- Be a Kenyan Citizen
- Two(2) duly completed Passport application form Form PP1
- Applicant’s Birth, Adoption or Registration (original and photocopy) Certificate In some instances an applicant’s parent(s) birth certificate maybe required
- Four (4) very current coloured Passport size photographs of the applicant on plain background with full face and both ears visible
- Copy of valid Residency permit (Iqama)
- Payment as detailed in the fees structure
2. New Passport for Children Born in Saudi Arabia or other Middle East Countries
- Two (2) duly completed Passport application Form PP2
- Expired or filled up Passport being replaced and its copy
- Four (4) current coloured Passport size photographs of the child with full face and both ears visible and with plain background
- Passport copies of both parents
- Child's original birth certificate. If not in English, it must be translated at the Embassy. Note: Birth Notification certificate and Hospital Entry forms are not accepted
- Copy of parents residency permits (Iqama)
- In some instances, copies of both parents Birth Certificates may be required
- Payment as detailed in the fees structure
3. Replacement of Passport after (Expired / Filled up) 5/10 years
- Two (2) duly completed Passport application Form PP1
- Expired or filled up Passport being replaced and its copy
- Four (4) very current coloured Passport size photographs of the applicant on plain background with full face and both ears visible
- Copy of valid Residency Permit (Iqama)
- Payment as detailed in the fees structure
4. Replacement of Mutilated Passport
- Two (2) duly completed Passport application Form PP1
- Mutilated Passport to be replaced and its copy
- An affidavit detailing the circumstances under which the mutilation occurred
- Four (4) very recent coloured Passport size photographs of the applicant on plain background with full face and both ears visible
- Payment as detailed in the fees structure
5. Replacement of Lost Passport
- Two (2) duly completed Passport application Form PP1
- Four (4) very recent coloured Passport size photographs of the applicant on plain background with full face and both ears visible
- An affidavit detailing the circumstances under which the loss occurred
- Police abstract or immigration entry details report issued by Saudi authorities
- Letter explaining circumstances of loss
- Payment as detailed in the fees structure
6. Diplomatic Passport
- Two (2) duly completed Passport application Form PP1
- Letter from Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Nairobi-Kenya)
- Old Passport or original Birth Certificate and National Identity Card together with their respective photocopies
- Four (4) very recent coloured Passport size photographs of the applicant on plain background with full face and both ears visible
- Payment as detailed in the fees structure
Notes:-
Applicants under 18 years of age must have one of the Parents’/Guardians’ consent letter and a copy of the National Identity Card.
